I purchased the sterling silver version of this ring off of the GemsOfLondon etsy shop three years ago, and the ring is easily the most beautiful piece I own. The opal is flashy, genuine, and an incredible topic of conversation. The setting is downright gorgeous, meticulously crafted, and I cannot stress enough how satisifed I am with this purchase. The only thing I advise those considering purchasing an opal ring is to be aware of the care that will go into maintaining the soft stone and cleaning the setting without exposing it to harsh chemicals or water.
